Joined the Keller Lake Team in 2019

Leah graduated veterinary technician school in December 2017 from Argosy University. She worked as a lab technician before finding her way to Keller Lake Animal Hospital. Outside of work Leah likes to knit, shop, and watch investigative television shows or comedies. She has a young husky named Koi who is a favorite of the whole Keller Lake Team. You will hear her say’ it’s okay’ and/ or ‘everything will be okay’ because it’s a reminder that everything in life (not just veterinary medicine) will turn out well if you are a positive person (Leah’s motto:). Cassey previously worked as a veterinary assistant at a clinic in Oklahoma while in high school and fell in love with the veterinary field. Shortly after she graduated high school, she went into the Army as an intelligence analyst, however as life tends to throw curveballs she was injured during a training incident and discharged. A few short years after she found herself longing to be back in her home state, so here she is! Coming back into the veterinary field has fueled my passion for pursuing a degree in veterinary technology and she would like to specialize in animal behavior.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her son, Oliver, her family, and her big fluffy cat, Smooch. Hiking, fishing, canoeing are a favorite when she is able to make the time. At home, she loves to cook, work on vehicles, garden, and watch history and crime documentaries!

Chase has a hungry curiosity for animal behavior and a passion for wildlife conservation.

When not in the clinic Chase is active in the Twin Cities theater community, works as a professional balloon twister, enjoys exploring local restaurants and breweries, and loves road trips and beating escape rooms with his girlfriend, Laura.
